Playtech Expands Its Live Casino Options Exclusively For GVC Holdings

Real money online gambling with the use of live dealers is a hot topic these days. This is one of the fastest-growing segments of the entire casino gambling industry. It also acts as a bridge to close the gap between land-based casino table games and online gaming options.

Playtech is one of the few companies driving the growth of live-dealer table games. The company is also busy expanding its live casino capabilities. Playtech recently announced the creation of a new live casino studio exclusively for GVC Holdings. That company is a leading online casino operator.

The new studio will be called Elevation. It is being launched in phases over the next two months. The initial offering includes five live Blackjack tables and one Roulette table. These live games will be featured at select GVC casino brands.

GVC has an extensive number of online casino brands. It has yet to be determined which ones are included in the initial Elevation studio rollout. The maximum number of available seats at a Live Blackjack table is 35. This suggests that the rollout will be limited to a limited number of GVC brands. That number should expand once Elevation reaches its maximum studio capacity.

Shimon Akad is Playtech’s COO. His comments on the new live studio were:

“As the parent company behind some of the most iconic brands in online gambling, GVC has been a key partner for us for many years. And we’re delighted to be extending that partnership with the development of Elevation. We’ve significantly invested in our Live Casino technology and facilities in recent years, in addition to continually diversifying our content. So in a year when we’ve done more than ever to enhance our product, it seems only fitting to be working with an industry leader to deliver an ever-more innovative live experience.”

Also quoted was the COO of GVC, Shay Segev. That statement read:

“Live Casino is one of the major growth areas in the online gambling market. With players looking for a more immersive, entertainment-driven experience. Significant investment has gone into delivering the first stage of Elevation studio and we’re delighted with the results.”

Mr. Segev went on to add:

“Playtech’s track record and experience in delivering innovative Live Casino technology and content is unsurpassed. We’re looking forward to continuing our successful partnership and delivering a world-class player experience.”

GVC also has an ongoing partnership with Evolution Gaming and that company’s Live Casino portfolio. This adds further intrigue to how each gaming company will expand their Live Casino options to GVC online casino brands.
