Playtech Expands Live Roulette in Regulated Spanish Market
Live-dealer table games accessed through real money online casinos is big business these days. This unique offering continues to bridge the gap between online sites and actual land-based casinos. Playtech has already established itself as the world’s leading gambling technology company. It is also leading the charge behind Live Casino software solutions.
A big part of the 2020 game plan is Playtech’s continue Live Casino expansion into regulated markets. An arrangement with gaming giant GVC will launch three new Live Roulette tables in Spain’s regulated market. This is a key initiative for both parties in a high-growth gambling geography.
The new games will be available through the following GVC brands:
- PartyCasino
- PartyPoker
- Bwin
The games will be hosted by native Spanish-speaking dealers on a continual 24-hour basis. These new tables will be designed around Playtech Live’s unique green screen technology. This will be the first of the kind for live-dealer Roulette.
GVC first launched Quantum Ruleta Live in December of last year. This was the first Roulette game in Spain that offered exciting multiplier boosts in every game round. The launch also included unique Quantum Boost and Quantum Leap special events.
Online casino gambling in Spain is on the rise. Spanish gambling regulator Dirreccion General de Ordenacion del Juego released figures late in 2019 added an exclamation point. Gross gaming revenue rose 22.5 percent verse the same timeframe the previous year. This was the fourth-straight year of annual growth in the casino marketplace. The overall worth of the market is expected to reach one billion euro annually by 2023. The longer-term potential could exceed 1.5 billion euro.
