Lucky Blackjack Player Hits Big

Back to our lucky winner. On January 3rd, a player, known by his “KJT” handle, joined the blackjack table at BetOnline’s Live Casino Red. Likely unaware that he’s about to make history.

On a hand, similar to any other, with a $30 wager, he was dealt a pair of sevens. The dealer was dealt a six. Most of the real money blackjack players would split in such a situation. KJT decided differently.

See, there was something special about his pair of Sevens. Both cards were of the same suit, the Diamonds. At the BetOnline Live Dealer Casino, three Sevens of Diamonds win you the Diamond Super 7s Progressive Jackpot. This jackpot often carries a potentially life-altering reward. You could see that something out of the ordinary was happening. The lady dealer glanced at the pit boss and alerted him of the hand.

Before the next card was drawn, KJT, along with numerous other players watching the game live online, held his breath.

Within moments, the next card came out of the six-deck shoe. It was revealed to be Seven of Diamonds! The amazing $198.218 was in KJT’s hands! We can only imagine the happiness he felt, as he and the casino staff celebrated this fantastic prize.

After the jackpot was won, it was immediately restarted. The new initial value was $65.890.

You, too, can have a shot at a once-in-the-lifetime moment like this. Visit the Live Casino Red at BetOnline and join one of the live blackjack tables for a chance to win the Diamond Super 7s Progressive Jackpot. The tables are manned by experienced and engaging live dealers making players feel as if they were in a real casino.

To qualify for the progressive jackpot, you need just a $1 ante wager for any hand. A piece of all wagers is put into the progressive jackpot fund. Even if you miss out on the big prize, you can still win handsomely. Three red Sevens will win you a Mid Prize of $1.000.

Any three Sevens get you a Mini Prize worth $100.

The live dealer games at BetOnline can be played both on a computer or a mobile device. The action takes place in the actual brick-and-mortar studio. The whole operation is powered by innovative software provided by Visionary iGaming. Besides blackjack, you can also play roulette, baccarat, or Super 6.

What Are The Biggest Hands from the 2020 Debut of High Stakes Poker?

Filmed at the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino, the 99th episode featured a $400/$800 no-limit hold ’em game with a $200.000 minimum buy-in. The game had a star-studded lineup of some of the most prominent pro players including Tom Dwan, Nick Petrangelo, Bryn Kenney, Jean-Robert Bellande, Rick Salomon, and former Phillies pitcher Michael Schwimmer. Schwimmer, after some pretty active play, left the table in the initial episode of the 8th season as the biggest winner. He managed to turn $200.000 buy-in into $404.000. High Stakes Poker will now regularly air every Wednesday and is available to all PokerGO subscribers.

In case you missed this exciting game here’s a short overview of the five biggest and most impactful hands of the 99tht episode of High Stakes Poker.

First Six-Figure Pot of the New Season: Dwan vs. Schwimer

Early in the game, Tom Dwan with two Jacks (spades and hearts) in his hands raised to $2.500 with Michael Schwimmer calling from the button with the 10 of diamonds and 9 of diamonds. Bryn Kenney played along with King of hearts and 9 of hearts. These were the three active players for the flop featuring 10 of clubs, 9 of spades, and 2 of spades. Kenney checked, while Dwan bet $5.500 and Schwimer went in aggressive raising to $17.000. Kenney responded by folding, but Dwan called. After the 4 of clubs turn, Dwan checked and Scwimmier bet another $33.000. Dwan called and checked once the Ace of hearts river was revealed. At this moment the pot was worth $108.700 as Schwimmer bet another $20.000. Dwan called, effectively handing ex-baseball player the first six-figure pot of the game, worth $148,700.

Salomon’s Bold Play Pays Out: Salomon vs. Dwan

Rick Salomon started off the hand raising to $3.500 with Jack of spades and 7 of spades in his hands, as Dwan jacked it further to $15.000 with Ace of clubs and King of clubs in the big blind. The 9 of clubs, 8 of clubs, and 8 of spades flop gave Dwan a flush enticing him to bet $18.000. Salomon called and had a little bit of luck with a Jack of hearts turn. Dwan check-called at $22.000 as the 6 of hearts came out on the river. Dwan checked and Salomon bet another $50.000 forcing his opponent to fold and taking the massive $161,200 pot.

Dwan’s Two Pairs Get Him $149K Pot: Dwan vs. Petrangelo

With 10 of spades and 6 of spades, Dwan raised to $2,500 and got called by Nick Petrangelo holding Ace of clubs, and Jack of clubs. Schwimmer joined the party betting $7.000 which got called by both Dwan and Petrangelo as the 6 of clubs, 10 of diamonds, and Jack of diamonds flop came out. Dwan, with two pairs in hands, checked, and both of his opponents followed. After the 8 of hearts turn, Dwan bet another $17.000, Petrangelo called and Schwimmer folded. With 2 of clubs river, Dwan added another $46.000 to the pot which Petrangelo paid only to lose $149.000 pot.

Nine-Ten Band Brings Schwimmer a Big Pot: Schwimer vs. Kenney

Schwimmer started off things by raising to $4.000 with 10 of spades and 9 of clubs as Kenney defended his big blind holding Queen of spades and 10 of hearts before check-calling the $7.000 bet as the Jack of diamonds, Queen of diamonds, and 3 of clubs flop came out. Schwimmer made a straight with a King of clubs turn and bet $16.000. After that, Kenney called and bet another $40.000 upon seeing the 8 of spades river handing Schwimmer the $135.200 pot.

Checking Out of Turn Doesn’t Pay Off: Schwimer vs. Kenney

Another Schwimmer vs Kenney duel started with Kenney straddling to $1.600 and Salomon re-straddling up to $5.000 before Schwimmer raised to $18.000 holding Ace of clubs and King of hearts in the small blind. He got called by Kenney with 8 of diamonds and 8 of hearts with Salomon folding on the 9 of hearts, 7 o clubs, and 4 of clubs flop. Kenney then checked out of turn and answered Schwimmer’s $20.000 bet by calling. As Ace of hearts turn was revealed, Kenney checked out of turn again and called against the Swimmers $35.000 bet. He did the same on 10 of clubs river only for Schwimmer to check and take home $152,600 pot.

Enter For Your Chance To Win BetOnline’s Live Blackjack Casino & Roulette Challenge

Enjoy BetOnline's Live Casino Blackjack & Roulette Challenge

While online casinos continue to gain traction, particularly in the current year, the fact remains that not all casino clients have made a move to online alternatives. BetOnline continues to strive to change this through their newest December promotion.

Bet Online Live Casino

All users, both new and old, can now enjoy BetOnline’s Live Blackjack and Roulette Challenge; a promotion that is being held every week and aims to change the way the community sees online casinos.

How To Enjoy BetOnline’s Live Casino Blackjack & Roulette Challenge

BetOnline is betting all on this new venture and the website claims it’s one of the most exciting events any online player can partake on. The idea is to replicate the thrill of playing in a live casino, ensuring that the line between physical and online casinos gets thinner with each new installment of their challenge.

Of course, players won’t be playing just for the sake of fun and BetOnline has taken measures to ensure their Live Blackjack and Roulette remains as thrilling as possible for all interested players. Each week BetOnline will offer a $1,800 prize pool, an investment that shows how confident the company is in the appeal of this new challenge.

During the event players will play on both Blackjack and Roulette, with both American and European variants being available. The idea is to play on BetOnline’s live casino servers and earn points to make it to the top of the weekly scoreboard. Those players who reach the top three will be eligible to win their share of the $1,800 prize pool while keeping all their profits from the regular play sessions.

The scoreboard works in a simple way. Every $10 that is wagered at any of the applicable tables counts as a single point, so players will get to accumulate points just by playing regularly. Users who already play regularly at the tables can enjoy their games as usual and score points for the weekly challenge. While new users have a bigger reason to start playing on the live casino atmosphere BetOnline offers.

Players however should keep in mind that while the Live Blackjack and Roulette Challenge apply to both games the scores don’t cross-overs. Points for Blackjack will only work for the Blackjack prize pool and the opposite is true as well.

As such the prizes for the live Blackjack and Roulette challenge can be broken down as such:

  1. 1st Place (Blackjack): $500 And $400 For Roulette
  2. 2nd Place (Blackjack) $400 And For $200 Roulette
  3. 3rd Place (Blackjack): $300 And For $100 Roulette

Each challenge cycle will run from Monday to Sunday giving players enough time to accumulate points.

Competitive players can also easily see the current scoreboard by hovering over each game, allowing them to see the top 10 players as well as your own ranking.

With two live casinos and two different games to choose from BetOnline’s VIP Blackjack and Roulette challenge can be a great introduction for anybody looking to make the jump from physical to online casinos. At the very least the company is betting on it and this new promotion stands out as another impressive addition to their December campaigns.

Discover New Real Money Hold'em Poker Games From Microgaming

Premier online casino developer Microgaming has announced it’s an upcoming lineup of new Hold’em Poker games. Announced just last week the online gambling giant has chosen to expand on its game selection through the classic and beloved Poker.

Of course, the most interesting aspect of the news is its timing. Microgaming’s announcements come not too long after the unfortunate closure of their online poker network. Microgaming Poker Network offered players a place to enjoy poker in all its variants, but this year saw its closure after 16 years of continued service.

Discover New Real Money Hold’em Poker Games From Microgaming

With this announcement, live poker aficionados can rest assured that their favorite game still remains a firm priority in the company. Hold’Em Poker will be the first game released under this new game wave. However, players won’t have to wait too long for the rest of the collection. Lucky Showdown has been confirmed as the next game Microgaming will release as part of this project, and a full announcement can be expected soon.

For Microgaming fans, Hold’Em will represent an interesting evolution in the way the company is leading its game. Of course, the usual brand of quality will remain as usual, and players can expect a safe and reliable framework to stand behind their games. But with Hold’Em Poker the company is aiming at new ways to increase the enjoyment of its player base.

Hold’Em Poker is an innovative spin on the traditional Texas Hold’em format.

The key focus lies on being able to immerse the players in a realistic environment. In short, the game goes beyond offering live casino gameplay and fully aims to replicate the casino experience online. This fresh and modern take on a tried and true classic is an indication of the direction the company is taking on the real money gambling world post-MPN.

Wheel Mechanic To Randomize Prize Pools, & Progressive Jackpots

Players can expect a fast-paced experience that has been thoroughly optimized for mobiles. Playing under a sit and go tournament-style all it takes is €5 to join. On top of the immersive design, Hold’Em Poker also adds a wheel mechanic to randomize the prize pool, and the progressive jackpot seeds at €25,000, making it one of the most appealing options in the market.

The company will debut Hold’Em Poker through two separate phases. Select customers, and clients will be able to try out the game as soon as December 1st; through an early release that will include the full suite of functions and modes. For everybody else, they can expect to join the action on December 9th, the official global release date.

So far, no announcements have been made regarding the release or mechanics of Lucky Showdown, but Microgaming will likely state the release date of Hold’Em Poker grows closer.

While the closure of Microgaming Poker Network was a heavy blow to both the community and the company, these recent announcements show there’s no need to be concerned. Microgaming will continue to expand its gaming repertoire as it has done for years, and thanks to hat gambling, lovers worldwide will get the quality games they are used to.

NetEnt Live Steps Up Coronavirus Protection

NetEnt Live Steps Up Coronavirus Protection

As part of the plan to limit the spread of the coronavirus, social distancing tops the list. Limiting groups to 10 or less people is also a very high priority. NetEnt is one of the biggest players in the gaming industry. One of the company’s most successful endeavors over the past several years is Live Casino gaming solutions.

Through the use of live-dealers streaming actual table gameplay, online players have access to the most popular titles. The company’s Live Casino Operations has successfully bridged the gap between land-based casinos and online casino sites.

See How NetEnt Live Is Stepping Up For Coronavirus Protection

With most land-based casinos closed due to the coronavirus, the interest in live-dealer games has spiked. Different live versions of Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat are the most popular table games. Live poker is another big draw along with various specialty games.

Recently, NetEnt Live released a statement on the current situation in its Live Casino Operations. It also covered the potential impact of the coronavirus on its ability to keep streaming live games.

Once excerpt covered the company’s stance with the following quote:

“As NetEnt Live Malta, we are applying extra precautionary measures to contain the spread of coronavirus. And this should give NetEnt Live a greater chance of operating with continuity until the situation calms. Our goal is to maintain business as usual without compromising the safety of our staff. We will do everything within our power to achieve this but due to events cannot guarantee continuity of service at this stage.”

The company went on to explain the extra safety measures that have been put in place. Operational hours could be reduced. Certain tables could be temporarily closed or have their hours reduced. Emphasis will be placed on keeping the most popular games up and running.

This includes Blitz and Perfect Blackjack. This will give studios the ability to channel players to what is available. It will also allow operations to accommodate a higher volume of online players due to other table closures.

Live tables for Auto Roulette, as another popular offering, were not addressed. Should the current situation drastically escalate, it was also not clear if staff would be restricted from studio access. This will most likely bear itself out over the next few weeks.

Right now, it appears to be business as usual at NetEnt Live. Given the dire situation in the land-based casino industry, this is a bit of refreshing news for active players. Any sort of distraction from the daily news headlines offers a brief break from reality.

Evolution Gaming Ups The Ante For Live Football Betting

Evolution Gaming Ups The Ante For Live Football Betting

Evolution Gaming has already made a name for itself in real money slots and other casino games. Lately, the company has focused its efforts on raising the bar for Evolution Live Casino. Every US soccer fan is well aware that football pertains to the same game internationally. This is widely considered to be the most popular sport on a global scale. This is also why it makes perfect sense for Evolution’s recent upgrade to its Live Football studio.

Evolution Gaming Upgrades Full Live Football Studio

This was a complete upgrade from a full studio make-over to changing the live game itself. A more traditional look has given way to a way more modern feel. Gone is a table shaped like a football pitch. Also replaced is a background resembling a typical football stadium.

In its place is a visual explosion of color and graphics. The background looks space age and the table is a 3D glass field. The dealer now stands to enhance the card playing aspect. It all comes together to make players feel they are surrounded by more than just a card game. Adding to the sports feel is a bottom screen ticker scrolling actual football headlines.

The game itself is a spin on Dragon Tiger. It involves betting on the higher card for the Home or Away team. Winners pay 1 to 1 with a tie paying 11 to 1 odds. To add to the football aspect of the game, comments on live matches take place as the cards are dealt.

A few of the football leagues covered include:

  1. English Premier League
  2. Champions League
  3. Europa League
  4. US Major League Soccer

There are also leagues from individual countries such as Germany, France and Sweden. Each game round only takes 25 seconds to complete. This keeps things moving fast and steady. Evolution Live Casinos try and time play with the biggest live matches. The table game itself tends to be rather boring when not accompanied by a live football broadcast.

Game play, a bottom football news ticker feed and commentary on live football matches come together in Evolution Live Football. This can be visually overwhelming at first but everything does work in unison. This game is aimed at diehard football fans looking to add some gambling to the mix.

The recent changes to the Live Football studio will definitely appeal to a younger audience. The modern feel combined with organized chaos should be right up their ally. The game has been expanded to nearly every Evolution Live Casino studio.

A few of the top casino operators in regulated gaming markets offering Live Casino games include:

  1. Royal Panda
  2. LeoVegas
  3. Mr. Green
  4. BetVictor
  5. NO Bonus Casino
  6. LiveRoulette
  7. Genting Casino

Each of these sites offer an extensive listing of Live Casino options. Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Online Poker offer the biggest selection of games. Live Football is available at most of these sites. All these sites heighten the live-dealer experience of Evolution games.

Poker Hall of Fame Member Named CEO of New Las Vegas Casino

Poker Hall of Fame Member Named CEO of New Las Vegas Casino

The Las Vegas Strip is filled with some of the most famous hotel and casino resorts in the world. Plans are underway to add a new iconic property to the list. The new property has recently named Bobby Baldwin as its CEO.

The new casino resort is called Drew Las Vegas. Baldwin gained his fame and fortune as a Hall of Fame poker player. Along with his vast poker playing experience, he also has past experience in Las Vegas management. Baldwin held the same role at a CityCenter entertainment facility on the Strip. It was owned by MGM Resorts International.

Who Is The New CEO Of The Poker Hall Of Fame?

The 69-year old CEO’s experience runs deep in this gambling town. He spent years and years playing high stakes poker. He also worked for major casino brands in an executive role. He decided to leave MGM Resorts last year and he will assume his new role immediately.

The Drew is part of an unfinished casino resort that was previously known as the Fontainebleau. The property is located on the site of the former Algiers Hotel. Construction of the Fontainebleau began in 2007. However, everything came to a halt in 2009 due to financial issues. The property sat vacant until new owners took over as few years back. It was purchased in 2017 for a reported $600 million.

In 2018, The Witkoff Group and Marriott International announced their joint plans to finish the project. They recently named Baldwin as the Drew’s CEO. Steve Witkoff is the CEO of The Witkoff Group. He called Baldwin “a transformation leader”. He added that he is “an individual who has unrivaled experience”.

The Drew Las Vegas is expected to open some time before 2022. The Las Vegas Strip casino will also house a 67-story hotel. The hotel will consist of more than 4000 rooms and suites. It will also offer 500,000 square feet of convention and meeting space.

As many as 20 different dining options will be part of the resort. There will be numerous retail shopping, entertainment and nightlife options included in the plans. The Drew will mark the debut of Marriott’s high-end “Edition” series of hotel properties in Las Vegas. When complete, this will be the tallest building in Las Vegas outside the Stratosphere as the tallest structure.

The casino resort is named after Mr. Witkoff’s son Andrew. He died of a drug overdose in 2011.

The Drew is part of several new construction projects planned for the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip. The current list includes:

  1. Resorts World
