How to Play Live 3-Card Poker
A round of play begins with the player making an Ante bet equal or higher to the table minimum. Three cards are dealt down to both the player and the dealer. At this point, the player has the option to either fold the hand or raise the Ante bet. All raises are equal to that original Ante amount.
If the player raises their hand, the dealer will turn over their three cards. They need a Queen or higher to qualify. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, the player wins even money on their original Ante bet, but the raised bet will be treated as a PUSH (or tie) and returned.
If the dealer’s hand does qualify, the better hand wins according to a set poker order as listed below:
- Ace High or Less
- Pair
- Flush
- Straight
- Three of a Kind
- Straight Flush
If the player has the higher valued poker hand, the Ante and the raise pays 1-to-1. If the dealer has the higher valued poker hand, both the Ante and raise are lost. If the hands tie, all bets result in a PUSH.
